Travel to and from The University of Hertfordshire
By road
1. From the south : leave the A1M at junction 2. Turn left at the roundabout and then right at the second set of traffic lights.
Alternatively leave the A1M at junction 3 and take the third exit at the roundabout.
2. From M25: Take exit 23 South Mimms and follow the A1(M) north to junction 2 as in 1 above.
3. From Heathrow: Take the M25 clockwise to junction 23 and then as in 2 above.
4. From St Albans: Leave St Albans by the A1057, Hatfield Road to the A1001. At the roundabout on the A1001 take the third exit, Comet Way , to join the A1M at junction 3. Take the second exit and then turn left at the traffic lights into the university.
By rail
Hatfield is on the Welwyn Garden City line out of London’s King’s Cross or Finsbury Park stations.
From Heathrow: Take the Piccadilly Line on the underground to King’s Cross station and then the mainline train to Hatfield.
University buses
The university operates a fleet of buses for public use. The company is called Unō and the buses are coloured pink and purple. For details of routes and timetables click here.
Car parking
Delegates attending Aeroskills courses are allocated parking space in car park 9. You must obtain a visitors parking permit from reception on arrival and display it inside your windscreen whilst on the university campus.
