Aeroskills is an independent company which has been providing training in aircraft composite repair and allied subjects since 1992. the training is specifically designed to meet the requirements of practicing maintenance staff in the aircraft industry.

Our courses have been developed over a period of 20 years in co-operation with educational establishments and aerospace organisations.

We offer scheduled courses throughout the year as well as tailor made courses to customers' specifications.

Training takes place at the fully equipped workshops of The University of Hertfordshire or can be conducted in any suitable workshop facility either in the UK or abroad.

We can also offer composite component repair, equipment calibration and consultancy on all aspect of composites technology.

It is important to note that our courses are not product based and we do not promote any specific product. All training is based on the repair methods currently specified by aircraft manufacturers. Delegates will use a wide variety of materials including carbon (graphite), aramid (Kevlar) and glass fabrics and pre-pregs, epoxy resins, Nomex and aluminium honeycombs. Equipment from a range of manufacturers is used during the practical sessions including hot bonders, vacuum bagging equipment and a number of material preparation tools. Delegates will gain the knowledge necessary to make informed choices between the all the approved products currently available.

Amongst our customers are major commercial airlines, third party maintenance companies worldwide, national air forces including the maintenance staff for the Eurofighter Typhoon and aircraft manufacturers.
